Experience life as Elvis did at Graceland Mansion with an audio-guided tour featuring commentary and stories by Elvis and his daughter, Lisa Marie. Graceland, decorated in the funky styles of the 50s, 60s and 70s, will lead you through Elvis’ amazing journey and the cultural and social barriers he experienced along the way. The Graceland Mansion tour includes the infamous Jungle Room, the Music Room, the Hall of Gold, Meditation Garden and more.
In the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum, stroll down a tree-lined street with a drive-in theater and see over 33 vehicles owned by Elvis. Highlights include his famous pink Cadillac, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the red MG from Blue Hawaii, his Stutz Blackhawks and more. Also, new additions for 2009 include both of Elvis’ Rolls Royce sedans, his 6-door Mercedes Benz limousine featured in the movie Elvis on Tour, and Elvis’ John Deere 4010 tractor that he used on his ranch and at Graceland.
Then, climb aboard Elvis’ custom jets. In the late 1970s, Elvis traveled in style aboard his customized Lisa Marie airplane and experience what he called his flying Graceland. The Lisa Marie includes gold-plated seat belt buckles, suede chairs, leather-covered tables, 24-karat gold flecked sinks and more. Then, take a glimpse at Elvis’ smaller Lockheed Jetstar.
With 31 films to his name and box office smashes such as Love Me Tender and Jailhouse Rock, the Elvis in Hollywood Exhibit tells the story of how Elvis transitioned from singer to on screen star and how he took Hollywood by storm to become its highest paid actor. The exhibit will also feature items from his film career, including his wardrobe, personal scripts, rare behind the scenes photos, personal copies of his own feature films, and a variety of other Elvis movie memorabilia.
Elvis Lives: The King and Pop Culture is an interactive exhibit that allows you to experience how Elvis has influenced pop culture as we know it today. Through video, photos and special displays, you will be able to trace Elvis' impact on music and the world, explore Elvis' music through listening stations and more.
Private Presley Exhibit celebrates Elvis’ induction into the Army and service to his country from 1958-1960. Special artifacts include Elvis’ army fatigues, dress uniforms, army foot locker, suitcases and more.
