If you aren't familiar with navigating the lower Cumberland River or Dale Hollow Lake, a guide will know where the fish like to hang out, allowing you concentrate on your mission of not just fishing... but catching.
Whether you have your own boat or need to rent one of ours, Cumberland County has three access points that will launch you onto one of the most beautiful manmade lakes in these United States. Dale Hollow Lake's upper most fingers reach into our county and cross over the Kentucky - Tennessee state lines. Within the 620 miles of shoreline, there are wide expanses just begging to have your ski or tube cross them, and numerous private coves offering their quiet retreat. With so much natural beauty, Cumberland County is filled with ways to enjoy the great outdoors.
Cumberland River & Dale Hollow Lake Fishing - Our secret is out - Cumberland County's fishing holes are producing record breaking fish. Trout in the cold tailwaters of the Cumberland River, smallmouth bass fit for the wall in Dale Hollow Lake, striped bass between the two, and let's not forget the walleye and crappie. Bring your boat (or rent one of ours) and maneuver your way into a fishing adventure that will beg to be repeated! Don't hesitate to soak up some of our local guides' expertise as well.
Motorcycle Routes - Home to the European Riders Rally each May, our country roads wind their way through some of the prettiest hills and valleys that you will ever two-wheel through. Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Golf Course - Ranked among the best in Kentucky, this 18-hole course hugs the southern Kentucky hillsides beautifully. It features 7,273 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Mud Camp Creek Public Wildlife Area - 600 acres of steep narrow ridges and valleys play host to deer, squirrel, rabbit, quail, grouse and fox and includes land along the Cumberland River which provides fishing opportunities.
