HOLLYWOOD, FL

Hollywood Beach consists of more than seven miles of three uniquely beautiful beaches.

Named one of America's top ten nostalgic promenades by USA Today, the two-mile Hollywood Beach Boardwalk features a brick-lined pedestrian promenade that combines dramatic coastal views of award-winning Blue Wave beaches with the nostalgic feel of a Main Street thoroughfare. Walkers, runners, bicyclists and rollerbladers set their own pace on this path, which is bordered by six miles of Hollywood’s famous coastline, boutique hotels, charming shops and cafes. Gear up for a game of sand volleyball or beachfront paddleball. Clear your head with group yoga or tai chi. When the sun sets, cool tropical sounds can be heard at the outdoor Beach Theater.

Still, the most popular pastime on the beach is simply savoring the charming character of this unique setting. Rent comfortable sun beds and cabanas and let the fresh ocean air will carry you into a state of pure bliss.

Feed your hunger for the arts at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, where modern art exhibitions and progressive dance and musical performances reflect Hollywood’s devotion to the creative spirit.

Historic Downtown is characterized by quaint sidewalk cafes, brick-lined walks and six blocks of unique storefronts. The pedestrian-friendly environment is the perfect place to enjoy South Florida. Just minutes from the beach, the downtown district is on the National Register of Historic Places and is the backdrop for year-round festivals, street markets and entertainment.

Get a taste of South Florida’s international music and culture that includes live jazz, blues, rock, Latin and R&B. Hop on the trolley to the ArtsPark in Downtown Hollywood to catch a glass-blowing demonstration and listen to the singing baobab tree, followed by some time spent in the children’s interactive fountain and an innovative playground designed to stimulate creativity.

End the day with a sunset kayak trip at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park, followed by dinner at one of 40 waterfront restaurants.
