Miramichi Boat Tours offers a calm relaxing tour of the Miramichi River. We have hourly tours, private tours, a moon-light cruise, and special event tours such as weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, and private company parties. Our boat " The Brandon Matthew " is fully licensed, with wash room facilities, and a open area for walking about. We are also recognized as Captain Dan’s Boat Tours. Our tours go from Eagles Nest on the Miramichi River to Miramichi Bay. We operate from Richie Wharf on the Newcastle side of the City of Miramichi in New Brunswick.
Miramichi Dragway Park is a 1/4 mile dragstrip and has the best traction in Eastern Canada starting with it’s 100 foot concrete launch pads to a well maintained asphalt track surface of 1320 feet and 2200 feet of shutdown area. The racing season runs from May through October.
The mountain biking experience in Miramichi starts at the French Fort Cove playground parking lot on King George Highway. Please park to the right side and start your ride by the permanent trail map. Riders are asked to not ride around the "crushed rock" trail by the playground and canteen as there are often families with small children and seniors. The mountain bike trails are accessed by riding two multi-use trails with several walkers and hikers, please exercise caution and yield right of way. There is approximately 17Kms
of mountain bike singletrack available and another 10Kms of double track and woods roads. Trails are well marked and mapped, anyone with some mountain bike experience can handle the more technical spots.
The Water Street Farmers Market is where small-town farmers market characterized by its warmth and hospitality, the market showcases a variety of quality, handcrafted wares that are made locally. Vendors bring goods such as knitting, crochet, woodworking and tole painting, pottery, handmade soap and bath products, needlepoint, fine stitchery and quilts. There are also a number of food vendors including an on-site kitchen, which offers a hearty, home-cooked breakfast menu. A variety of baked goods and specialty desserts, canned and pickled fruits and vegetables, locally produced organic meats and poultry, in-season produce and bedding plants can be found on any given Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Understand the significance of the Augustine Mound National Historic Site and the Oxbow National Historic Site.
Miramichi Country Music Opry presents “Bill Mullin,” founder of the Miramichi Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame and The Miramichi Country Music Opry. The Opry seats approximately 150 patrons on two floors with a regular Wednesday night jam featuring local talent and a regular Saturday jamboree with groups from all over the province of New Brunswick.
